Connector assembly machine: Classification and knowledge of car connectors
Dec 31, 2022| Generally speaking, the type of car connector can be divided into six aspects: electrical function, installation place, connection structure, shape standard, size standard, shape standard, and operating frequency. Details are as follows.
1. It is divided into electronic control modules (vehicle computers), lamp holders, temperature sensors, central electrical boxes, air -conditioning wiring, audio entertainment, etc.
2. Divided into the chassis system, instrument panel, engine system and safety system according to the installation location
3. According to the connection structure, the line -to -line, line panel, board panel, flexible board FPC, chip packaging (IC pin)
4. Size: rectangular, round
5. According to shape standards, circular connectors (ordinary, coaxial type), rectangular connectors (sealing, non -sealing)
6. Working frequency: low frequency and high frequency (border with 3 mHz)
The type of car connector can be divided into different categories according to other purposes, special structures, installation methods, and special performance, but generally, the basic classification is to emphasize certain characteristics and uses. Do not exceed the above classification principles.
Basic description of the connector
What is a connector? The connector is a component commonly used by our electronic engineers. Its role is simple. Establish a communication bridge between the interruption or isolation circuit that cannot communicate, the current through it to perform the prescribed function. The connector is a part of the electronic device. When you observe it along the current, you can see one or more connectors. The types and structures of the connector are diverse. Depending on the application goals, frequency, power, and application environment, the type of connector is also different. For example, connectors for stadium lighting, connectors for hard disk drives, and connectors for rocket ignition are very different. However, any connector ensures that the current is smooth and continuous.
Why use a connector? Think about what will happen without a connector. At this point, the circuit is permanently connected by the continuous conductor. For example, in order to connect an electronic device to the power supply, both ends of the cable must be connected, and the electronic equipment and power supply must be fixed in some way (such as welding). This has brought many inconveniences to production and use.
